A New Year is Here!
I'm so excited about the new year. I think 2004 is going to be a great year in a lot of ways. I'm so thankful that God has allowed me to pursue my music as a career. That is really a blessing and I hope I never take that for granted.

I got to spend some time over the holidays with my friends and family and that is always fun. Didn't really do anything special but enjoyed hanging out with them, especially my brother who came home from college for 2 weeks. We saw "Return of the King" together and that was cool. Santa was good to me too. I got a new Takamine, Acoustic/Electric Guitar, and I'm taking lessons from a really great guitar teacher.

I got to do something really neat over the holidays. I was ask to record a song for a single that will be in a Children's book that is being written called "Bluegrass Breeze". It is about a horse that grows up and races in the Kentucky Derby and of course wins. The song I sing will be in each book along with my picture, bio and website. I may get to participate in the Kentucky Derby events in some way...That would be cool.

My band and I start back practicing this coming weekend. My keyboard player was in Europe for 3 weeks over the holidays and he is back now so we are going to crank it up. I'll keep you posted if we book any shows in the Memphis area.

Hope everyone is having a great new year. Remember to consider God in your new year plans.
